Over the coming fall, winter and spring, the RCC is again offering themed musical dinners, or Little Musical Journeys, at the Roycroft Inn, which will benefit the Roycroft Campus Corporation Education Programs.
Inspired by Elbert Hubbard’s “Little Journeys,” these musical dining events will feature great artists, composers and musicians of history.
The theme for Saturday evening, November 19, 2011 is William Shakespeare. Boston’s Ensemble Chaccone will perform “Music of Shakespeare’s Plays” on Renaissance instruments. On February 9, 2012, Italian Opera classics by Leah Schneider, Maggie Zindle and Friends can be enjoyed while dining on Italian cuisine. Finally, Wednesday, May 9, 2012, the music of Frank Sinatra, sung by Nick Battisella, will round out the series.
This year, a discounted series package price is being offered. All three events are $210 per person or $180 per person for RCC members. Individual tickets are $75 each or $65 for RCC members. All tickets include dinner and a concert from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Roycroft Inn.
